Welcome to ThinkerBox — Where STEM X Sparks the Next Generation of Innovators
ThinkerBox is Where STEM X Comes to Life.
ThinkerBox is a faith-driven innovation platform that empowers students from middle school to college to explore robotics, AI, and entrepreneurship through hands-on, challenge-based learning. Rooted in Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) values, ThinkerBox integrates STEM X education—experience, experimentation, and execution—with purpose-driven impact, creativity, and collaboration. Guided by university-level mentors, students build real-world solutions, strengthen their faith in action, and develop the leadership skills needed to serve and innovate in a rapidly changing world.
ThinkerBox is an innovation-driven education platform that offers immersive, hands-on programs in robotics, AI, and entrepreneurship. Through our STEM X camps and challenges, students turn big ideas into real-world impact—with support from university-level professors, engineers, and mentors who meet you at your level, whether you’re just getting started or ready to build advanced systems.
Our programs are open to middle school, high school, and college students from any school or region. Whether you’re a beginner or already coding your own bots, there’s a ThinkerBox path for you.
STEM X is ThinkerBox’s next-generation approach to STEM education—going beyond traditional STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) and even STEM+ (which adds creativity and design thinking). While STEM teaches core technical skills and STEM+ brings in creativity, STEM X pushes students into action. It’s about eXperience, eXperimentation, and eXecution—where students build real solutions, work with university-level mentors, and pitch innovations that solve real-world problems. STEM X is where learning becomes launching.
Not at all! ThinkerBox programs are designed to meet students where they are. Whether you’re just starting or already advanced, our coaches and team-based format will help you grow your skills, fast.
ThinkerBox empowers students from middle school to college through hands-on STEM X programs in robotics, AI, and entrepreneurship—open to students, parents, educators, and partners nationwide.

Media & Highlights
In Summer 2024, ThinkerBox launched the BEAR Summer Innovation Camp, where middle school students from across Berrien County explored Business, Engineering, AI, and Robotics using the VEX IQ platform. Over 10 days, students built autonomous robots, worked in teams, and developed creative solutions to real-world challenges—all while being mentored by university professors from engineering, computing, information systems, and business. Rooted in SDA values, the program combined hands-on learning, innovation, and inspiration to spark confidence and purpose in every young participant.
LION is ThinkerBox’s startup simulation and coaching lab, where students learn to lead teams, solve real problems, and pitch bold ideas. With award-winning guidance, students like Team AngelWings reached the NASA MITTIC Finals and placed 2nd in the Andrews University Pitch Competition, while Hint of Michigan secured 3rd with their market-ready subscription box concept.

ThinkerBox LABS (Learning Applied Business & STEM) is an in-school robotics and innovation program that brings hands-on STEM X learning directly into K–12 classrooms. Designed to support teachers with ready-to-use curriculum, classroom-friendly robotics kits, and SDA-aligned values, LABS empowers students to explore coding, engineering, and problem-solving during the school year. Piloted successfully at Ruth Murdoch Elementary using Robobloq Qoopers, LABS turns everyday lessons into real-world innovation experiences.
Whether you’re a student ready to apply, a parent with questions, a teacher bringing innovation to your classroom, or a partner looking to collaborate—this is where your journey begins.
